Check out the new web cam installed at the skate park. Every ten minutes it takes a new photo showing six views of the skate park.
Partial closure of Dun Mountain walkway for logging
The private forest either side of the Dun Mountain walkway between Tantragee Saddle and Brook-Fringe track is now closed to all access until mid December and then again from 5 Jan 2009 until harvest is completed. The closure will be in force between 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday inclusive, with the track being open outside these hours. The access closure will be enforced.

Holiday programme assistance scheme
The Nelson City Council offers financial assistance to holiday programme providers to ensure the community has access to safe, affordable programmes of a high standard. Funding is available for each holiday round (i.e. April, July, October, Summer).
