Bells Island Pipeline Upgrade
Submissions welcome through 27 February
The Nelson Regional Sewerage Business Unit (NRSBU) has prepared a regional pipeline upgrade strategy for the Bells Island Wastewater Scheme. The risk of pipeline failure is considered extremely serious.
The NRSBU is seeking to take urgent action. Upgrade options are being suggested for public feedback. Find out more on the options available and have your say.
Draft Regional Land Transport Strategy
Deferred to Council workshop 10 February
The draft Regional Land Transport Strategy (RLTS) for Nelson City sets the direction for the development of Nelson’s land transport system for the next 30 years. Council has deferred a decision pending further discussion at a workshop in February. Read up on the Regional Land Transport Strategy.
