Nelson City Council proudly presents the 2010 Nelson Arts Festival, featuring such eclectic and engaging acts as Ooh Baby Baby, a bizarre circus theatre, a hospital melodrama, a concoction of great emotion ... think ER on acid!
World's largest haka
It's one year to go, so let's break the world record for largest haka as our way of inviting the world to Nelson for next year's RWC 2011. We need you: Tahunanui Beach on Saturday 11 September. Training on the Ka mate haka is available. All info can be found on Facebook.

Enrol to vote
The right to vote is based on being a resident of Nelson and you can enrol at any time, up until 20 August for this year's election. If you're not on the roll at this time, you won't receive a voting paper in the mail. Instead, you'll need to complete a special voting paper, available from 20 September.
